Introducing Anker Solix E10: The Future of Home Battery Backup Systems (2026)

Anker is set to unveil what it describes as "the world’s first smart hybrid whole-home backup solution." This innovative system, dubbed the Solix E10, will make its debut at CES 2026 (you can check out live updates here), although the company has yet to provide detailed information about its features or specifications.

For several years now, Anker has been a notable player in the home power solutions sector through its Solix brand, which offers scalable systems equipped with massive, modular batteries. These batteries are not only rechargeable via the electrical supply coming into your home but also have the capability to harness energy from solar panels. The pricing for these systems varies significantly, ranging from approximately $4,000 to $6,500 or higher, based on the options selected and whether you wish to incorporate solar panels—assuming you don’t already have a rooftop adorned with them.

The term "hybrid" used by Anker suggests that there may be additional components involved in this new system. However, deciphering exactly what these might be is challenging based solely on the images released by the company. These images depict what appears to be a substantial battery backup unit, alongside a boxy panel that resembles a more sophisticated version of the panel included with Anker's existing Solix F3800 kit (you can learn more about it here). Additionally, there are two other intriguing modules that remain a mystery.

Mark your calendars! Anker has announced that it will share further information about the Solix E10 on January 12 at 1 p.m. ET / 10 a.m. PT, including comprehensive technical specifications and features. Until then, we can only speculate about what this exciting new product will entail.

Meanwhile, Gizmodo is actively covering all the latest tech revelations from CES 2026 in Las Vegas throughout the week. Stay tuned for our live blog here and find all our coverage linked here.
